At our surf camp in El Palmar in southern Spain you can relax, enjoy delicious food, join yoga classes and of course learn to surf. Families are just as welcome as single travellers, friends or couples.

The beach in El Palmar is 8 kilometres long, undeveloped and mostly empty outside of the summer holidays. So, look forward to lonely beach walks and romantic sunsets. On a clear day you can even see as far as Africa.
If you like things a little more lively, you can sit down in one of the many bars and cafés by the sea to watch the hustle and bustle over a drink or two..

The A-Frame Surf Camp in Spain actually consists of two separate areas. The Beach Camp (or Front Camp) is located directly at the beach and is a little more lively while the Oasis Camp is located about 400 meters back from the beach in the countryside. Sea view from the terrace vs. peaceful hideaway… You are spoilt for choice:

If you want to stay directly where the action is, our beach camp is the best place for you. Here you just have to cross the road and your feet are in the sand.
You can watch the waves over breakfast on the terrace and end the day surfed-out with a beautiful sunset from the same spot. All accommodation has fully-equipped kitchens and bathrooms.
Oasis - Surf camp in El Palmar in the green
If you are looking for some peace and tranquility, go for a cute country cottage at the Oasis Camp. Our second camp is only 400 meters from the beach and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Some of the villas have pools. Each has its own garden, bathroom and fully-equipped kitchen.
Delicious food at the A-Frame Surf camp in El Palmar
Every day our chefs make you delicious fresh healthy food just when you need it. You can look forward to a huge breakfast, delicious lunch and a three-course dinner. In between, snacks, fruit, coffee, tea, water and juices are always available. Once a week we have a big BBQ with both camps together.
Learn to surf in El Palmar
If you want to learn to surf on your vacation, El Palmar is the place to bne for you. The surf classes at our surf camp in El Palmar are for everyone: beginners, intermediates and advanced surfers.
Depending on your surf level you will be placed in the best surf course for you to improve quickly and have the most fun. Over five days in your surf camp week our surf instructors will teach you everything you need to know to take your surfing to the next level.
Surf Yoga Camp El Palmar
Yogis are especially close to our hearts here because in our opinion yoga and surfing fit together perfectly. That’s why Yoga Retreats and Yoga Journeys regularly take place in our camp.
If you want to combine yoga and surfing, you can book a Yoga Surf Retreat with us. For all those who prefer to come to a yoga class spontaneously, we offer an open drop-in yoga class five days a week.

The location of the A-Frame surf camp in El Palmar, Cádiz
El Palmar is located in Andalusia, in the south of Spain and belongs to the region of Cádiz. The A-Frame surf camp is located in southern Spain, on the Costa de la Luz. Here in Andalusia the sun shines almost always, so you can enjoy mild temperatures even in winter.
The nearest town is Conil de la Frontera. From Coniul you can reach our surf camp in El Palmar in a few minutes by car. If you come by plane, it is best to take a rental car. Hire cars are relatively cheap in Spain and you can also make excursions to the Andalusian surroundings outside of the surf courses.
Arrival at A-Frame surf camp in Andalusia
Ideally you are flying to Jerez de la Frontera, Sevilla or Málaga. From Jerez de la Frontera we also offer a pick-up shuttle for the guests of our surf camp. These are the distances of the airports by car:
- Jerez de la Frontera: 45 minutes to 1h
- Sevilla: Approx. 1.5 to 2h
- Málaga: About 2,5h
